Wave That Flag Welcomes South Sudan as Worlds Newest Captureable Flag

Wave That Flag launched July 14, 2011, the same day South Sudan became a United Nations member state. Before any changes were made to the homepage flag map, South Sudan had to be confirmed by the U.N.

Article 6 of the Constitution of Flagging states, The Flag in question must be from a Sovereign State. In other words, they are completely independent and are not under any other nations authority/rule. When it comes to claiming captured flags, the line must be drawn somewhere. South Sudan would become completely independent eventually, but Atlas Al and The Hunger waited until it was official.

When media broke the news of the worlds newest country, Wave That Flag programmers and graphic designers halted work on version 2.0 to make adjustments to Sudan and South Sudan flag maps. In response to South Sudans independence, The Hunger said, We needed to accommodate members as quickly as possible who may have captured their South Sudanese flag already.
